A bit about Adam

Man lifting a barbell with weights in a gym.

Adam (he/him) is from Auckland, NZ where he worked as a professional contemporary dancer before moving to Melbourne in 2024. He has always led an active lifestyle and played several sports growing up, though it wasn’t until 2020 (and lockdowns) that he began going to the gym. After graduating with a Masters of Dance Studies, Adam completed a Certificate in Personal Training and started work as a group fitness instructor in 2024. It was at Project Better that started Personal Training and continues to train clients at their Brunswick and East Brunswick Village gyms. Adam has also continued to pursue his dancing and taught several classes at the Victorian College of the Arts.

Adam specialises in hypertrophy (building muscle), gaining strength and improving overall fitness and mobility. He is focused on good technique and form so that clients train with safety and efficiency. Adam takes one-on-one, couple and small group training sessions catered to individual goals and abilities.
