A bit about Byrd

Byrd at Lift to Last working out with a group

I’m a personal trainer who began my career at one of New Zealand’s top gyms and later coached in several well-known group fitness studios before moving to Melbourne. I specialise in fat loss, building strength and helping you move with more ease by understanding how your body works.

I know what it’s like to juggle work, life and fitness. That’s why I create training plans that are realistic and built for busy schedules. I also bring a sense of fun to training, so the work feels enjoyable rather than overwhelming.

As a former chef and certified nutrition coach, I share practical cooking tips and simple nutrition guidance to make healthy choices feel doable.

My goal is to help you move better, feel stronger, and build confidence through training that supports the way you want to live.

Question 01

Favourite meal?

Anything spicy. As I’m Thai, my culture’s food can be spicy — but it’s always packed with flavour. Bonus points if it’s high in protein.

Question 02

Most underrated exercise?

Farmer’s carries.

Simple, brutal, and effective. They build grip strength, core stability, shoulder integrity, and overall conditioning. Plus, they translate directly into real-life strength.

Question 03

Outside the gym you can find me...?

At the dog park with our dog, Soy.

This little one keeps us busy, active, and on our toes.
